The draw which is held on July 9 by British Columbia issued 218 invitations to apply for a PNP by Express Entry and Skills Immigration.
British Columbia invited in each of the following five categories with minimum scores are as follows:
|1||SI – Skilled Immigration||105|
|2||SI – International Graduate||105|
|3||SI – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled||80|
|4||EEBC – Skilled Worker||110|
|5||EEBC – International Graduate||105|
British Columbia PNP invites the highest score candidates in each of the above categories to apply for Provincial Nomination.
The candidates are evaluated and points assigned through the factors like educational qualification, work experience, and BC employment offer.
The first step for most nationals who would like to be considered through either the skills immigration or Express Entry BC streams have to first register an online profile with the British Columbia Provincial Nomination Program through the Skills Immigration Registration System
Express Entry manages the pool of candidates for Canada’s Federal Skilled Workers Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class in which Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) is open to immigration candidates with a profile of Federal Express Entry.
After the candidates are approved for the nomination an additional of 600 points are added to the express entry candidates’ score.
Skills Immigration candidates who receive nomination will have their Canadian permanence residence applications processed outside the federal express entry.
