British Columbia introduced a provincial nominee program to recruit and retain skilled workers and satisfy the demand for talent in 29 occupations in the technology sector.
The new draw which is held on July 2 invited 42 invitations to apply for tech pilot and the minimum score is 90.
The invitations which are issued on July 2 went to the candidates registered in Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration in which there are four categories as follows:
- EEBC – Skilled Worker
- EEBC – International Graduate
- SI – Skilled Workers
- SI – International Graduate
The July 2 draw was seventh consecutive draw with a minimum score of 90 in each of the above four categories.
The Tech Pilot is eligible to registrants must:
- Be for one of the 29 eligible occupations under the BC PNP Tech Pilot
- Be at least one year in duration (365 days)
- Have 120 days calendar days remaining at the time of application
The candidate who got approved for British Columbia provincial nomination will receive an additional 600 Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points toward their express entry profile under the stream Express Entry BC and Skilled Immigration.
The Number of ITA’s issued is 42 for altogether to EEBC – Skilled Workers and International Graduate SI – Skilled Workers and International Graduates.
